Seeking delay in reporting to Pre-Training Camp?

This is exactly what I said after last night Carling Cup match, thinking the player should ask there national coach to allow them to stay an extra day or two before the training camp so they could play in the Carling Cup Semi-Final 1st leg!

Yobo has come out already and is asking for a delay, what a move let's hope they could stay a bit longer? What do you guys think?

You'd think common sense would prevail... but this is Berti Vogts we are talking about.

To be honest, if he refused them 'permission' I think Yakubu would defy him. I really do after hearing Yakubu talking about his determination to win the Carling Cup and its not as though Yakubu is Vogts number one fan.

Yobo definitely wouldn't though, with being captain an all.

Not so sure about Joey he has stood up for the team before against management and he really wants to keep helping our side. If they say yes to the Yak then they would have scant choice regarding Joey if he asked

so, whats the consensus regards home and away draw - specific too 3 first teamers possibly being allowed to play that first semi?

thats when we will be strongest, so do we want it away to set us up for the (in theory) stronger leg at goodison where home advantage (that theory bit) will hopefully make up for having them missing.
