Shame Vettel did not put his car in the wall, but he has dominated all year so well deserved. Button is a new driver these days. Hamilton looks like he really needs to get his head together and stop his fights with drivers down the field.

Agreed that the last 4 races should be fun to watch. Can't wait for next weekend now. Gold grandstand seats!

Button has impressed me big time this year, I think at times Hamilton has been unlucky this year, I love his driving style but it has its downfalls.

If Mclaren can match RBR for pace next year then the Championship will be tight.
Last year for Mclaren having first use of the mercedes engines next year isnt it? cant help but feel once they lose them they'll struggle majorly.

Button i agree is and has become the driver he always should have been full of verve and flair shame its taken so long tbh

About to be the youngest ever back to back champion.

Golden days.

This season has been the most exciting I can remember. Looking forward to the race on the morrow and can't wait to go next week.

Most improved driver this season has to be Button. He has pulled Hamilton's pants down more than once this year.

golden days to me: schumacher vs. häkkinen, now the sport has nothing interesting to offer, freaking boring stuff
(and thats only my opinion, naturally it was interesting to see finn among those who fight for the championship, but generally speaking F1 has lost it. not enough action, not enough interesting personalities, not enough balls. cars look like sh** and no overtakings. ffs)

these were th golden days of F1

Superb post.

Golden days were in reference to what Vettel is experiencing these days. The Schu Hakk fights were awesome.

The overtaking has been unreal if you have watched the races this year Finnfan. I can't remember a season with so many overtaking maneuvers. The Hamilton, Massa, Maldanado fights have been quite amusing too.

Good race, made up Jenson won it. He really, really wanted it. Well, Seb is the youngest double world champ. Hamilton and Massa hit each other, AGAIN.

Did you guys see Alonso got a free DRS lap when he shouldn't have. He swept up right behind a backmarker at 130R which allowed him DRS use on the straight....probably instrumental in keeping Vettel to 3rd place.

Looking forward to the rest of the season as 2nd is now the target for everyone.

DRS has finally reinvigorated the sport.

And you are wrong about the Schumi/Mika days being the best.

The single best season, in the midst of the best era of Formula 1 was when Prost and Senna were both in at McLaren and won 15 of the 16 races between them, creating some of the most exciting races ever seen. I think it was 1988.

Plus the 1.5l V6 Turbo's pumping out 1500 hp in race trim and 1800hp in qualifying trim. RIDICULOUS!!!!!

my opinion, dude. häkkinen was our national hero then. and still kind of a legend

& senna vs. prost = legendary stuff

Senna, greatest of them all.

Your true hero, IMO(remember, I am not a Finn FFS!!!), should be Ari Vatanen, Hanu Mikkola, Juha Kankkunen or Tommi Makinen. Those guys are REAL drivers. And lets not forget Henri Toivonen, who tragically never got to properly fulfill his potential.
