It is getting close to renewal time so I thought I would ask what are everyone's thoughts for next season now that we have had a good look experience etc of the new stadium.

I know travel has had a major impact on people going this year as have the Night and mid week games.

Lets see what the general thought process at present

Love my seat, but the volume of late night/midweek has meant too many games I've been unable to go, and the club have made it very difficult to pass on my ticket (resale platform isn't available in Club View).

Unless the club announce something different, I dont intend to renew.

Unlike Goodison, it's easy to buy tickets now on the resale platform so there's no need for me to keep a season ticket.

Probably would be better to move from Club View then . If you intend to go at least 12 out of 19 games it still makes sense to have a ST. Plus the chance to get your money back for at least some of the games you miss.

Its 1200 in club view mate.

Even if you pay 900 or whatever elsewhere - reckon if you're making 10-14 a season then may as well cherry pick the games. Loads going for half price, even free this season on here! You also get to see more of the ground.

More and more will twig it in years to come and the demand will get less.

Scarcity drives demand and its not there.

I may be wrong, but I’m pretty certain we’d know by now usually, I can only imagine the club/owners are weighing up the pros and cons of putting the prices up.

I'm giving it one more season to see if Club View gets sorted out (queues and resale/handing on of tickets) and also to see if the scheduling of the fixtures gets any better. I'm taking far too many days off to guarantee attending only to get thwarted by the (too late for me to alter) TV changes. As you say, I can cherry pick most of the games I want to attend via Seat Unique.

Have loved being at our new stadium in our first season, but the faff factor vs Goodison is significantly higher as it stands. I need one more season to be sure before I give up my ST, with the hope that a match routine will settle down (fat chance with this seasons fixtures).

Yeah good approach to have. Come the summer I'll probably convince myself to do the same but even if not Seat Unique pal pretty much every league game you can pick 2-4 seats anywhere you want.

I like my seat and my view a lot. I'm disappointed with the number of people who decided to sit in the south stand who don't really have any intention of creating an atmosphere and I hope a lot of them reconsider where they may want to sit at renewal time, because I think whether they realise it or not, they're causing a problem.

I can't blame the club for the number of weeknight games we've had, but they've sucked the life out of me and it's been made worse because our home form has been rubbish and the ground is a ball ache to get to and get away from as well.

I did debate what to do, but I think I've settled on keeping my STs but I 100% came close to giving them up because I've realised that getting match tickets isn't going to be that difficult for most games going forward.

Not a foregone conclusion that I'll maintain this forever though, but the thought of potentially getting to a cup final or something and missing out at some point in the future because I didn't renew still fills me with dread.
