We all said Lampard had to go in November and the board waited and waited, possibly because we as fans have got managers sacked prematurely in the past and they didn't want to pull the trigger too early. Then they failed to get us a striker in the January window knowing full well that DCL is unwell.
We are gone. A win today would have given us a glimmer of hope but a draw or a loss and we were finished.
I'll still follow the Blues to all the games in the lower leagues, but I don't imagine many will want to see us playing Bristol City or Rotherham.
