2022/23 Sean Dyche

We have sorely missed Doucoure since Kane got him sent off, but frankly we were down when Dyche came in.

We were on the same points as the 20th placed team and we'd already played all the poor teams twice. We all said Lampard had to go in November and the board waited and waited, possibly because we as fans have got managers sacked prematurely in the past and they didn't want to pull the trigger too early. Then they failed to get us a striker in the January window knowing full well that DCL is unwell.

We are gone. A win today would have given us a glimmer of hope but a draw or a loss and we were finished.

I'll still follow the Blues to all the games in the lower leagues, but I don't imagine many will want to see us playing Bristol City or Rotherham.

If and when we go down, and blame is being apportioned, Dyche is very very far back in the queue to get a slice.

He's like a blind amputee medic in a battlefield with no supplies.

Like giving Lewis Hamilton a ford fiesta and asking him to win the World Driver Championship
