2022/23 Sean Dyche

Don't know why anyone would even be discussing him at this point tbh. What do you expect from the guy? He's making the team of wasters work hard at least. We aren't going to get more from this team of wasters. Its a mid-table championship side at best.

Considering all the money we have spent in recent times it's pretty mind blowing to realise Dyche had better forward options at Burnley. Doesn't matter how much you huff and puff during a match if you can't rely on anyone to put the ball in the net.

Just got to hope we scrape enough points to fix that problem in the summer.

A dead cat bounce, I fear. Incoming hammering in midweek to compound the gloom.
See people said that after the derby, then we beat Leeds. There’s no ‘bounce’ here, we have a manager who is setting standards and playing an effective system for the players he has.

If we had a finisher, we would have won today, we were well on top for 60 mins but couldn’t put it in. We may have even won at Anfield, was also a close game.

We’ll lose a lot more before the end of the season but Dyche has taken a team who got thrashed by Bournemouth and lost at home to Wolves and Southampton and away to West Ham all of whom were probably the worst teams in the league at the time of playing them to get 6 points from 12. If he keeps that up, we stay up very comfortably.

I just can’t fathom for the life of me how a manager who has lived off 4-4-2 his entire career and even done a tactics video about it, rocks up at Everton and just flat out point blank refuses to let two strikers be on the pitch at the same time.
It’s even more weird considering maupay and simms both will be better playing together than on their own.
