If he keeps us up he'll get the Big Sam thanks but no thanks.
If we get relegated he's the perfect man for the job.
He probably wanted assurances & contract length.
Based on the way he talks I think he’ll be less stubborn about style of play than Sam was.
Allardyce had us well safe but continued to turn in abysmal performances for the difference of finishing 8th or 11th or so. If Allardyce had taken the shackles off a bit and shown he could manage a team who played a bit the fans would’ve happily seen him stay a bit longer. I think Dyche is more aware and will want to survive and then build on it, like
Moyes did historically with more flair signings like Arteta, Pienaar, Fellaini, Drenthe, AVdM, Yakubu, Mirallas (some worked out better than others ?)
