2024/25 Seamus Coleman

i agree however I got a middle finger from @PhoenixIreland when I made a comment about it.

He deserves his own send off for the fans/club to say thanks, separate from leaving Goodison.
He’s a humble, club-first man. Even if he’s out for the lap of honour, I’m sure he’ll have his family there to mark and enjoy the occasion for the Goodison-era as much as anyone. He knows what it means.

How could a player overshadow leaving goodison?

Thats mindblowing to me.

He pretty much has been in semi retirement for half a decade.
Since the start of season 2023/24 (August 2023) he's played a grand total of 905 minutes for Everton. Two years and he's played a grand total of 10 games worth of time earning a full salary. In that time he's also played just shy of 500 minutes for Ireland, often returning to Everton injured.

He simply has to retire unless he wishes to stick around for free as an inspirational leader.
