Hasn't been good enough for a good four years now, but the sentimentalists love him and he keeps playing way past his sell-by-date to the extent that even what he did well at the club disappears from living memory. To become a top four club, you've got to be ruthless. Seamus now isn't good enough for a top half club, let along top six or better. He's not an exception, either. When you're starting the likes of Davies, you're not serious about the top six. We need reinforcements every window, not just summer. If we can't make them because we can't rid ourselves of the those who need to be ruthlessly disposed of, then Brands needs to be punted. Our progress depends on movement in the windows.

Been said for years, the fact he hasn't been replaced is one of our biggest failings. Hes a good player but his best his behind him, even during his best form, hes not an attacking threat, as his crossing is awful.
