If Son did this to a Liverpool player the media would absolute hound him out of the country and call for a 25 game ban!

Plucky old Everton once again. Seamus should have stuck the head into him and defended his teammate. Son is 100% to blame for ending a £22m players season and potentially his career and livelihood. How on earth can anyway say he isnt to blame and is a victim.

It was a reprisal for an earlier incident between the 2 and I hope someone snaps his leg. He is a little snide.

How will Gomes feel that all the attention is on Son and his well-being as he drowns in his own self-pity and guilt? Anyone at Everton thought of that?

That is so true and Carragher would be up there leading the charge.

Career ending? I think thats a bit of a stretch. Gordon Hayward of the Boston Celtics had a similar injury 2 years ago and is back to full strength.

As for Son, you simply cant wish harm on him. Was his challenge foolish... of course. At least he was instantly regretful about the decision he made and hopefully he will keep that in mind going forward. I do wish his ban was a bit more but it is what it is.

Gomes will come back strong. Im sure he isnt reading newspapers or twitter and more worried about getting that ankle back to strength.
Gomes got a retrospective 3 game ban for standing accidently on an ankle....

This little snide sprints 30 yards after he sees it is Gomes (who he clashed with minutes earlier), has absolutely no chance of getting the ball so decides to intentionally do him harm.

On reflection I sincerely hope someone breaks Son's ankle. This got overturned because football is ruined, and VAR will ensure Liverpool win the league.

I'd of preferred a 20+ game ban though... not the PRAISE he has been getting. Absolute shocking how he has been treated, like he is a victim. He INTENTIONALLY tried to do Gomes serious harm.

Fantastic. All good. I'd have preferred he copped the three games for a clumsy, cynical challenge.

I still don't want him to sustain a serious injury. Because I'm not a maniac.

You know when the players' heads are down and there is no drive or guile in the team, when you bring your right back on (when losing) to inspire the other players.

It is all good and well providing sound bites and to be fair he's fulfilling his role as club captain, but I want them to be 'told' in the dressing room and at FF.
