Our ‘leader’ thinks there are two victims. So disappointed in Coleman and if he sets the tone for the squad, I’m not surprised we aren’t competitive.

Disappointed in Coleman. What a laughable comment. Went to check on a person who'd been affected by an event but by doing that has cost us any chance of ever winning anything, I'm sure. Should have set fire to a Son Spurs shirt if he cared about the club.

One bad tithead you, Coleman has been on the end of it so knows the distress it can cause both the injured and those involved, on that occasion Neil Taylor showed little remorse, hell on that night everyone was having a go at Ashley Williams for doing his job as Welsh captain to try and diffuse the situation and not turning on his international team mate over club loyalty, hell McCarthy got the same abuse over not doing the same thing.

It’s a challenge that happens 9/10 times on a football pitch up and down the land, that doesn’t cause an injury and had Aurier not been steaming in from the other side wouldn’t have done in this instance. It’s the landing not the challenge that’s caused the damage

It likely never happens if Son doesn't lunge in from behind, of course it's the challenge, the challenge caused him to lose balance.

For me it done me. Yeah I was playing at a level not even comparable to EPL but I had zero confidence in my leg to the point it was better to chuck it because I was gonna get injured trying to protect it. I just couldn't cope with the feeling my leg had fallen off again, nor the months of darkness subsequent to the operation. Yes, the levels aren't comparable but the mental scars are. Andre will have the support of a massive club and all our fans and he'll need it. Trust me. Even then he'll still not be the same again.

Theres a reason top level sportsmen are top level sportsmen. Their mentality is 100% different to most people.

Thats true in a lot of cases, but 'some are more mentally strong than others' For example, Coleman was mentally strong, but has still not returned at the same pre injury quality, and Bolassie whatever people thought of his pre injury talent, never really came back. Neither did McCarthy, now on the Palace bench. This is my worry with Gomes...he has already shown signs of being mentally 'not the strongest'. We can always hope he'll come back, but I have my doubts.

If Son did this to a Liverpool player the media would absolute hound him out of the country and call for a 25 game ban!

Plucky old Everton once again. Seamus should have stuck the head into him and defended his teammate. Son is 100% to blame for ending a £22m players season and potentially his career and livelihood. How on earth can anyway say he isnt to blame and is a victim.

It was a reprisal for an earlier incident between the 2 and I hope someone snaps his leg. He is a little snide.

How will Gomes feel that all the attention is on Son and his well-being as he drowns in his own self-pity and guilt? Anyone at Everton thought of that?

Career ending? I think thats a bit of a stretch. Gordon Hayward of the Boston Celtics had a similar injury 2 years ago and is back to full strength.

As for Son, you simply cant wish harm on him. Was his challenge foolish... of course. At least he was instantly regretful about the decision he made and hopefully he will keep that in mind going forward. I do wish his ban was a bit more but it is what it is.

Gomes will come back strong. Im sure he isnt reading newspapers or twitter and more worried about getting that ankle back to strength.

Its all very nice of Coleman to comfort Son like that but I can't help but feel that attitudes like this play a part in why we're so crap. We're simpley to nice for our own good. Winners teds to be arseholes and nice guys really do finsh last. I don't believe for one second that the Spurs players would be comforting one of our lads had the situation beem reversed.

I've always liked Coleman. He's one of the few players we've got that always at least try, but I'm really annoyed at how he handled the Son situation. By going into the Spurs changing room to "comfort" Son (who seems to of gotten over his terrible ordeal pretty quickly!) he gave them all the ammunition they needed to paint the lad as the victim of the situation.

It's no wonder that we get crapped on both off and on the pitch by opposition teams, t.v. companies and the football authorities. We're a soft touch who allows people to take advantage of us because they'd rather we be liked then be successful.

We need a purge at this club to rid ourselves of all these losers that have infested us and I'm sorry to say it but Coleman is right at the top of the list.
