I'm confused. Old people fought to live in peaceful harmony with the rest of Europe but old people are also to blame for Voting leave.
We need some way to sort the oldies from the aged. Or the other way round.

Hahahaha......handed on a plate......this from a generation spoilt rotten by those same baby boomers. The generation who fought in WW2 gave us life and independence. The generation that followed rebuilt the country and the economy. The moaning crying generation have yet to do anything of note except complain about us leaving the EU. Well don’t worry about it, once we’ve gone you can make your own decisions and rejoin the EU if you want, though I very much doubt you will.....

What was unreasonable of them to want the money that the UK had already agreed to pay in to the EU?
I totally agree that the UK negotiations were crap. But we're never going to be in a strong enough position to be able to negotiate any better.

I think the days being able to pigeon hole people on poltical grounds is long gone.
Plenty of Convervatives voted Remain. Plenty of Labour supporters voted Leave (& made up a large portion of UKIP).
30% of BAMEs voted Leave.
All this nonsense blaming old white people for the Leave vote is a cop out.

The whole thing is idiotic. A simple majority should never be defined as the will of the people for something so important.
If democracy and the will of the people actually mattered to the leave folks they'd be happy to hold another referendum that was legally binding and required more than a simple majority to achieve their goals.

Personally I'd rather stay in the EU and the benefits that come with it.
Allow me to explain the divorce bill in footballing terms that you may understand. When Everton appointed Koeman as manager they gave him a 4 year contract because they were looking to the future. When Everton decided to part company with Koeman they were obliged to make a substantial payment to Koeman as compensation for the future commitments that would no longer be required. Everton paid the 'divorce bill' and they parted ways. Same with the EU and UK.
when the Eurozone is ion near recession and even Japan - Asia growth is growing - that's where we should be trading unilaterally...
