Rangers (sadly) haven’t always been open to all. This is reflected in their fan base, hence why so many dislike them. As our song goes: to hell with liverpool and rangers too.

Never realised the Celtic love was so strong here. What's the story? Is it purely because they aren't the pro-British Rangers? Or is it more of a 'Scouse not English' thing which again aligns itself to the Green half of Glasgow. I'm interested to know.

We just hate everyone, if there was a Celtic thread it would end up the same way.
Years ago there was a big religious divide in Liverpool, I was born in tenements that had about 300 famlies in it and had 3 non Catholic famlies that wasn't unusual, so not surprised it was we were brought up to prefer Celtic.
Thankfully the device has mostly gone.
As the years have gone by and the RS love affair with Celtic has gone on most are not arsed either way i dont like either team myself
