SCRAP VAR

No, that’s true but it’s not the main issue. The main issue is that the refs make bad decisions. It’s easy to pinpoint some and call it bias but the majority don’t fall into that category, they’re just bad.
This is a genuine question - what happens to a referee who makes a glaring and obvious error? What happens if it happens frequently? Is there a sanction?

Which comes back to the accountability issues. If there's no process to deal with referees who are making the wrong calls, the standard will never rise.

It's like a player who has no competition for their position: will they ever really push on? People make mistakes, it's natural, but repeatedly is not acceptable.

Until there's accountability, refereeing in this country will not improve as the closed shop (the PGMOL runs by ex-referees) will maintain the status quo.

I’m not saying there’s no corruption in football but the main issue with refs and VAR is just them being crap.

The main issue is that the refs make bad decisions. It’s easy to pinpoint some and call it bias but the majority don’t fall into that category, they’re just bad.
so the referees and decision makers are "just bad" and "crap"

we`ve had nailed-on easy to call decisions go against us for how long now? -

Anthony Gordon (vs C. Palace) could`ve had his career ended and Ayew only got booked. Van-Dijk today was an easy sending off call.

there`s too many to recall - i`d say that consistency from referees.

- are LFC calling Taylor "crap" today?

how come our neighbours don`t suffer from "bad" refereeing decisions?

The refereeing, officiating and VAR needs hunting down and investigating like Lance Armstrong, the most blatantly corrupt yet accepted thing in England currently which is saying something.

Hate A Taylor too, arrogant welp
The West Ham one was even worse, ref even looked at it on the screen, then just runs off when he’s made his decision, absolutely shocking.

Isn't milners foot playing Coady on, and even if It isn't it defected off milner meaning Coady isn't offside ?
