Hearts’ success in Europe has been fairly modest in my time but there’s been a few good (and some) great moments.

Beating Bayern Munich
Beating Atletico Madrid
Beating Bologna
Beating Stuttgart
Beating Dukla Prague
Beating Slavia Prague
Beating Basel
Beating Braga
Beating Austria Vienna
Beating Velez Mostar
Beating Dnipro
Beating Dinamo Zagreb
plus quite a few others.

Credible draws v Liverpool, Tottenham, Sparta Prague, Paris SG, Red Star Belgrade, Real Mallorca.

Hopefully back in the saddle this summer.

Rovers v Bohemians tonight. Now that is serious dislike. However, I remember a lad called Hughie from the Dublin ESC who was a Bozo but a lovely bloke.

Sometimes we exacerbate simple differences so that they move to hatred. It is so much nicer to tolerate and seek to understand different views and backgrounds.

I won't start on my daughter's rs boyfriend ?
I like hating kopites though . It’s one of the best thing about being a blue

I kind of feel the Mark Walters signing, was something Rangers did deserve credit for. I think they were the first of the old firm clubs, to sign a black player.

Apart from Gil Heron, who larbert toffee has mentioned, Celtic had Brazilians Marco Di Sousa, Ayrton Inacio, though they only played for the reserve side.

Would Paul Wilson be classed as black? The Rangers supporters songs about him at the time would indicate they were of the opinion he certainly wasn't white.

Also, in the interest of fairness - early 2000's ranked us, Rangers and Celtic as the most racist clubs in the UK, apparently.

What, itnof, was that based on?

Unless they were using the abuse Mark Walters suffered at Celtic Park in the 80's, I can't think of anything that would lead to Celtic being even remotely close to being labelled one of the most racist clubs in the UK.

Obviously in a stadium with mainly sixty thousand white males you will get your share of people with racist views, and you may even get the odd scumbag shouting something, but by the 2000's I reckon Celtic would have been one of the least racist clubs in the UK, certainly not the most racist.

I remember watching the Hearts - Stuttgart game on a German channel, DSF iirc. I think Petric missed a great chance that would have sent Hearts through to the next round.

Oh not by me mate, papers from the 00's, I think the one I looked at for that post was from the Guardian.

For currently from some rando papers (and a google search) it's Millwall, which is very believable.

I like how you're okay with that being a fact for Rangers though lol appreciate that.
