Mate, with respect.Laudo, I respect your views, but please don't try and suggest that Everton is going back to Houlding.
We left his bigotry behind in 1892, and welcomed all to play for and support this Club while he founded that mob. If you have not read up on his politics and his sectarianism then I suggest you look at some of David Kennedy's works.
I welcome anyone who can put in a shift for Everton. Ditto as regards supporters. I loved Gough, Weir, Gray and Sharp. All Bears. However, you cannot ignore the massive contribution from so many others who were far from being Bears.
This Club welcomes all - if that ever changes then my 53 years support comes to an end.
There is far too much dislike of fellow humans going on in the world.
Btw in February 87 when Ireland beat Scotland in Glasgow, we were warmly welcomed by Bears to their local. I literally couldn't reciprocate the rounds we were bought. Each time I tried, the barman said it was already paid for.
Think it's pretty obvious that the only person trying to push the narrative in that direction is Div(Davek), I'm pretty sure you're aware of the troll that is Div?? ?
The fact that you liked his comment alluding to it and then somehow attribute what I was saying regarding a Rangers connection to be other than the obvious player/manager links between the two clubs over the years is frankly, baffling!
