Celtic conceded four goals at Real Betis before the embarrassing loss to Livingstone, then a home draw with Dundee United before another four conceded at home tonight and this time without reply.

I know the defence is worse than Southport's and on a par with Stenhousemuir's but who ever thought Crocodile Dundee was the right man for the job?

What he was though was CHEAP and that's all that mattered to the board.

He's Ronnie Delia mark II only not even half as good as that nonentity.

I wonder why David Moyes wasn't the slightest interested? Possibly because West Ham are five times the better side - their top of their group not rock bottom with no points and an embarrassing goal difference

The board had to go without garibaldi's for a week after employing him.

Think he should have his contract extended to 10 years and the stadium renamed the 'Angeballdome' immediately!!

Celts were looking great for a spell early on in the season. Was there a change in personnel or injuries that damaged them? Extraordinary loss of form anyway.

Everything about them is cheap and nasty atm, just so Desmond's deluded d**khéáds can keep their millions and employ some washed up Greek version of Crocodile Dundee. The Aussies are good at cricket and Aussie Rules football, it's not somewhere you should be looking for a 'soccer' manager.

Celtic have a horrendous injury list. I think they had 9 players out for a game recently.

While I accept that so many injuries must affect the team, I can't understand why the manager doesn't adapt his tactics. He seems intent on playing the same way whether it's a Croatian internationalist playing at full back, or a young left winger from Celtic's development squad.

If you play with two out and out wingers you need some mobile, combative, midfielders to provide some cover for the defence. I think most people would agree Rogic and Turnbull are neither mobile, or combative.

Celtic should stick it out I reckon and wait for the injury list to go down. You can't win the league every year and their recent record still trounces Rangers, who aren't so great themselves anyway.
Mind you I don't live in Glasgow!

Largely agree with you there, I think the defence is simply shocking to be honest. The best way to protect a non existent defence is by attacking and monopolising possession, something they can do quite easily domestically which tbh says everything about the standard of the domestic league setup.

The big difference is in Europe, even in this second tier competition, the opposition teams do get the ball occasionally and it seems score at will against the cardboard cutouts called defenders. As you say injuries have hardly helped but the master tactician in charge atm is clueless too.
