He's had a poor game tbf

Griffiths coming on was the turning point
Yeah, he didn't do much today but every other time i've seen him he impressed me. He's still young and raw, but potential is there IMO.

And I like Griffiths too. Celtic has so much quality up front (comparing to others in the league) it's ridiculous. I could bet that him, Sinclair and Dembele will score 50-60 goals between them this season.

Some fans bemoan the lack of quality north of the border, but I wish we'd showed the level of energy and commitment against Burnley that Celtic played with today.
To be honest, I enjoyed this game much more than most of the games in England. Second half was brilliant.

Morton 2 v 1 Ayr Utd

Good win and great second half performance. Ayr were deservedly 1-0 up at half time, however, we rallied in the second half and even had the luxury of having an apparently very good goal chalked off before scoring another two. Bring on St. Mirren on Tuesday, must win game as we haven't beat our Renfrewshire neighbours for 17 years.

I think Dembele will be the next big export from Celtic to go to the EPL and do well for himself. Forster, Wanyama and Van Dijk have shown their quality in the big league, Dembele will do the same I reckon, he has all the attributes.

Has their ever been a shooting opportunity in a game where Chris Sutton has been commentating, where he hasn't shouted HE'S GOT TO SCORE?

Also, why on earth was the gladbach defender red carded? Is the rule not that it's a pen and a yellow or a free and a red if it's outside the box for professional fouls? Someone feel free to enlighten me but I thought it was this new double jeopardy thing.

Could the promotion play off be on the cards?
Wouldn't have thought so at the start of the season tbh Mikey, but we've put a decent run together, given a good account of ourselves against Aberdeen and are brimming with confidence right now. Hibs and Dundee Utd should contest the top two positions, so we need to keep the winning streak going to achieve the highest position possible, anything against Hibs or Dundee Utd will be a bonus.
The introduction of loan signings Lindsay and Nesbitt from Celtic and signing Murdoch and Gunning on short term deals has changed the shape of the team and given us strength at the back and an engine in midfield.

Obviously I hope Hibs finish 1st, but I'd be chuffed to bits if you guys could nab 2nd and then send Hamilton crashing down to the second tier ;)
