Just on the bbc haven’t they either been banned or banned themselves from post match interviews and selective coverage at Ibrox ? Tough to say they’ve got a close relationship in those circumstances.
Iirc, Rangers banned one of the BBC reporters, Chris McLaughlin, after he reported that the SPL match delegate was going to include sectarian singing amongst the Rangers fans in his match report.
The BBC decided they wouldn't send a reporter to cover Rangers interviews until they lifted this ban. Somehow, this has been twisted into the BBC have an agenda against Rangers, instead of Rangers are trying to bully the media into silence when it comes to behaviour of their fans, and players.
One of the Rangers fans spokesmen, Chris Graham, wrote on his site The Rangers Standard it was due to racism that the media up here focus on the behaviour of Fernando Morelos! So there you have it. It has nothing to do with Morelos kicking players off the ball, and even kicking them in the balls, or hitting a forearm smash into an opponents face. The media in Scotland, especially the BBC, are racist!
