Dundee Utd 1 v 1 Morton

Would've taken a draw against one of the bigger teams in the division before the game, but having taken the lead in the 11th min, then losing a goal the 93rd min feels like a defeat. Thought we started well and after we took the lead we were comfortable right up to half time. Second half we started to sit back and give Utd more of the ball, though they never got in behind us or create any chances. It was obvious that new manager Johansen had settled for 1-0 when he took off a striker and went to a back 5, but this only resulted in more pressure without an option up front. Thought we had weathered the storm, but a long throw-in in the 93rd min led to a deserved point for the home team.
It would be great to see morton in the spl

Don't understand that or why McLeish is happy to start with Naismith ahead of the "Thumb" in International games.

Think a few managers both domestic and international have their doubts on the lad so that’d suggest they consider other issues rather than his scoring record.

I also think maybe they think Naismith looks a better fit as the loan striker ,

Naismith is the striker in form at the moment and is banging them in for fun he looks back to when he was at his best with Rangers so I can see why he's getting the nod at present, plus Griffiths is not first choice for the hoops, don't know whether that is down to form or if he has a niggling injury.

You could see he was fired up for the game last night and he had that mad look about him, I do think with Griffiths the Celts have a hot potato and if he's not injured yet not getting a game especially with Dembele now away

How does that song go

There may be trouble ahead..................

Morton 1 v 1 Dunfermline

A late 30 yard strike from sub Tiffoney gave us an undeserved point against a Dunfermline team who had dominated for about 75 mins. We started without influential centre midfielder Millar and his absence was obvious early on. Never got to grips with the midfield, never looked comfortable up front and suspect at the back, happy to go in 0-0 at ht. Second half didn't start any better and when the visitors took the lead it wasn't a surprise. Fortunate to get a point and the new management team have some work to do before next Saturday's game against top of the table Ayr Utd.
