Heard earlier he was critical really sad if that's correct, a good player who played a big part in Aberdeen's success, a young age too RIP
Now confirmed, but on a one year deal. That says to me, play off finish or yer on yer bike then Ray.Looks like Ray McKinnon will be announced as the new Morton manager this week, possibly tomorrow. Wouldn't be my 1st choice as manager, but if it is him, let's hope he's given money to bring in some decent players.

Yeah i agree. Hopefully the new chairman will give him the funds to get us back to the Premiership. He was meant to be the next big thing at the Arabs but it just didn't happen, however I put a lot of their troubles down to having an arrogant and overbearing chairman.
It was the same way at Aberdeen until Milne changed his strategy and took took more of a back seat and let the manager manage.
I think if the 'Ton chairman let's him get on with it he'll hopefully do well, good luck for the new season.
After the sensational Cup win over Rangers his move to Rotherham was hardly a step up from Hibs. Maybe financially.Watching those Si Ferry interviews, the one with Stubbs reminded me of how he seemed to do pretty well with Hibs, winning the Scottish Cup. He then went to Rotherham and absolutely stunk the place out, got canned after two months IIRC. And that seems to be that.
Is there a real manager in there do you reckon? Or was he actually not all that impressive with Hibs?
Laughing at the idea of moving from Edinburgh to Rotherham for personal reasons. After the sensational Cup win over Rangers his move to Rotherham was hardly a step up from Hibs. Maybe financially.
But the feeling was that he wanted to be nearer to his family.
Ah well. There's no accounting for taste!Laughing at the idea of moving from Edinburgh to Rotherham for personal reasons.
