I'm not ignoring it. I think managers, and players should be allowed to criticise officials.

If some nutter decides to threaten an official that is horrendous, but don't think officials should be above criticism for their performances, especially after they've been shown to have lied to a manager.

I think McInnes choice of words were really poor, but in no way would I accuse him of encouraging violence towards officials, or creating a toxic atmosphere in Scotland towards referees that led to threats and intimidation but, and like Alfredo's it's a really big but ( wee bit of artisitic licence there ) if you accuse Neil Lennon of creating a toxic atmosphere towards referees because he criticised an official, how has Derek McInnes not created a toxic atmosphere in towards referees?

So, did Derek McInnes creat a toxic atmosphere in Scotland towards referees that led to threats and intimidation of John Beaton?

If the answer is no, could you explain the difference?

I think Boyd deserves more criticism than McInnes to be honest

McInnes at least has the excuse of being in the thick of a title race and is frustration boiling over

Boyd is a paid WUM who can sit nice and safe in the punditry box whilst putting people’s safety in danger
