East Fife's draw at Cove Rangers was enough to see us live to see another season in League 1. Actually, it didn't matter too much what happened in our game, as Hamilton lost and therefore enter the dreaded relegation playoffs. Been sweating on this one all week, so I'm greatly relieved and have been happily parked up in the pub since half-time.

What is it with some people?

Are opposition players, and fans, not allowed to celebrate in case it offends some precious wee soul, who's only option then is to respond with violence?

If I lost a game, and opposition players were sniggering, I would probably respond with an emphatic two word reply, suggesting they go forth and fornicate, then leave them to it.

Tragedy chanting is weaponised though, unfortunately.

Scottish football for well over 100 years was completely riven with sectarian hatred, and not just in Glasgow btw. You know that.

I just hope that neither of the two clubs who were at the forefront of that get their hands on the title this season.

I always think it’s hilarious that Celtic fans like Dave assume the mantle of moral gatekeeper, even though he’s the most insidious member of this sub-forum, spreading his hate and bile on here.

Celtic fans on social media generally referring to Hearts as ‘Diet Huns’ and reducing us to some sort of sub-division of the Orange Order!

For the record, Heart of Midlothian FC were formed in 1874 purely to play football and have never had any sort of religious background or mandate. In fact, back in the day, Hibernian were banned by the SFA for being perceived as an Irish club but Hearts defied the ban and continued to play them.

Celtic fans like Dave are completely paranoid and hate-filled. They aren’t just fans though: they are zealots; beyond the pale, and so politically charged that if you’re not exactly like them: then you are the enemy.

What a strange, pathetic and sad little world they live in. Meanwhile, I’m just glad my team is doing well this season. It’s nerve-shredding as hell but brilliant. I’ll leave the hate and bile to Dave.

Dave supports Everton and Hibs, mate

And Roberto Martinez

Big games today. Probably decides the season - or at least what's still possible at the end of the day.

Sad day again for me; I'm going to have to reluctantly want Hibs to roll over. No true Hibee wants to see Hertz win a title.

And hopefully rangers force a point off them in the later game of the day.
