Tragedy chanting is weaponised though, unfortunately.
Scottish football for well over 100 years was completely riven with sectarian hatred, and not just in Glasgow btw. You know that.
I just hope that neither of the two clubs who were at the forefront of that get their hands on the title this season.
I always think it’s hilarious that Celtic fans like Dave assume the mantle of moral gatekeeper, even though he’s the most insidious member of this sub-forum, spreading his hate and bile on here.
Celtic fans on social media generally referring to Hearts as ‘Diet Huns’ and reducing us to some sort of sub-division of the Orange Order!
For the record, Heart of Midlothian FC were formed in 1874 purely to play football and have never had any sort of religious background or mandate. In fact, back in the day, Hibernian were banned by the SFA for being perceived as an Irish club but Hearts defied the ban and continued to play them.
Celtic fans like Dave are completely paranoid and hate-filled. They aren’t just fans though: they are zealots; beyond the pale, and so politically charged that if you’re not exactly like them: then you are the enemy.
What a strange, pathetic and sad little world they live in. Meanwhile, I’m just glad my team is doing well this season. It’s nerve-shredding as hell but brilliant. I’ll leave the hate and bile to Dave.
