Scottish football

There are some horrible things about Scottish football, and Scotland in general, Dave, but people in other countries tend not to notice things that go on around them.

Imagine if I, or any other Celtic fan, posted on here calling TRFC 'the blue scum' or 'the orange scum' There would be a bit of a meltdown, and the poster may well get a ban.

After the wailing about the graffitti at Ibrox mocking the Ibrox Disaster, which I concede was trully horrendous, I'm sure a couple of posters on were were taking the high ground about Scottish football.

I did think at the time that I was under the impression that fans of Liverpool, and Man United, at least, indulged in tragedy chanting, and that there would be thousands more doing that, than wrote the graffitti at Ibrox.

A week, or two, later someone at Leeds spoke out about the tragedy chanting, and recently the Leeds fans have been accused of homophobic chanting.

There are some absolute counts all around us. In every country.
Don't bite, mate

Tragedy chanting is weaponised though, unfortunately.

Scottish football for well over 100 years was completely riven with sectarian hatred, and not just in Glasgow btw. You know that.

I just hope that neither of the two clubs who were at the forefront of that get their hands on the title this season.

Falkirk v Motherwell, good game, end to end stuff, poor finishing kept the score down.
Great through ball and finish gave Falkirk the win.
European football probably out of reach for the Bairns but they're not giving up on it yet.
