Who on earth do these numbskulls think they are? How did football get to this?

I've been in an Old Firm crowd back in the sixties - more then 100,000 at Hampden. Drunks everywhere, people getting carried out on stretchers, those little disabled cars around the pitch, jumpers for goalposts. But in general it was fun! A game of football!

Hooligans are tolerated far too much, in my opinion.

Police were searching Ibrox before a game, and found a stash of weapons, including a bseball bat. Unless the Union Bears have a team competing in the West of Scotland Baseball World Series, the chances are they were planning on using the weapons on opposing fans.

There should be draconian punishments for hooliganism, no matter who it is that's doing it.

I don’t have a dog in this fight, just generally enjoy watching the old firm games.

Pitch invasion speaks for itself but I was reading about the damage in the away end, smashed seats, advertising boards, IRA graffiti, graffiti mocking the Ibrox disaster etc etc.

Both as bad as each other and anyone pretending otherwise is an idiot

I have no time for vandalism, it's horrible ned behaviour, but when Celtic fans throw pieces of broken glass at the Rangers keeper, hit the Rangers coach on the head with a bottle, and run onto the pitch to have running battles with rival fans whenever the team loses a big game, then you can say both are as bad as each other.

Untl then, anyone pretending otherwise is an idiot.
