Thats the thing. Look at our situation over years and i still travelled and went to games. They are 2nd in the league and fans are boycotting. That entitlement in any league is untolerable.

On the face of it, it doesn't look good, but out board has been resting on its laurels for years.

It's like Dermot Desmond's private company. If you play golf with him, or go racing with him, you, or your kids, have a chance of getting a job at Celtic.

Our recruitment record has been poor, with Peter Lawwell splaffing milions on hordes of project players, instead of having far less ounts, and singing fewer better plkayers.

The only reason Celtic have been so succesful is because rest of Scottish football, and Rangers in particular, haven't been very good. Rangers still aren't a good team, but I think they'll win the league this season. Hearts may win it, but Celtic won't, unless they get rid of Nancy.

Stole a living that scruff.

His Glastonbury set though was the highlight of @laudo9 s 2025.

I get that and have heard many Celtic fans complaining about the board and their lack of ambition for years.

In many ways they are victims of their own success in that they have had continued and sustained domestic success that has created complacency at board level and unrealistic expectations and demand of the fanbase.

Alot of the Celtic fans i know want to be competitive in europe but the limitations of their league and finances make that very difficult.

What irritates me is the lack of true support once Celtic aren't winning most trophies. Particularly amongst a fanbase obsessed with how they are percieved.

Agreed. I used to work with a couple of Celtic fans and they were such dicks. Any defeat was due to bias against them 🙄

Imagine the league was chock full of Liverpool supporting refs. Imagine they were in a secretive organisation that excluded Everton fans, and was supposed to help each other out.

Imagine they had been photographed making 'secret' handshakes with Liverpool players before kick off. and they regularly made ludicrous decisions in favour of Liverpool, and against Everton.

Imagine years after these referees retired they went to Liverpools supporters nights and bragged about how they gave Everton nothing and gave Liverpool everything.

All of that happened with Rangers supporting referees.

Are you seriously trying to tell me you wouldn't think, just maybe, the referees allowed their support for Liverpool to influence their decisons? 🤨

This doesnt happen in England. Officials are asked what team they support, and aren't allowed to officiate in games involving their team. In Scotland officials are still allowed to work at games involving the team.

He is definitely from the dark side...😉

I don't think most Celtic fans, if any, expect to compete to win the Champions League, but they should be more competitive when it comes to winning the Champions League qualifying games, and in Europa League games.

I wouldn't expect to beat PSG, Bayern, or Real Madrid etc. I do however exxpect to do better against Kairat Almaty, Cluj, and Midgetland, or whatever theyre called.

Rangers got to two Europa League finals in the last 17 years. One of these finals was less than ten years after being, how should I put it?, 'illegally demoted' to the fourth tier of Scottish football.

I don't remember him to be honest.

I find it incredible that officials can work at games involving the teams they support. Especially when there are millions of pounds at stake

We were just supposed to accept the bizarre decisions made by Rangers supporting refs like Jim MCluskey, Bobby Taite, and Mike McCurry etc were all 'honest mistakes.

When Celtic supporters pointed out the possibility that these refs allowed their heart to rule their head from time to time, Rangers supporters mocked us, and called it 'Parkhead Paranoia'

Now that a couple of Catholic officials have made the grade, and made some calls against Rangers, the bluenoses are claiming its corruption! 😏

It has to be said, the Rangers fans completely ignore their players handing the ball more often than the Harlem Globetrotters...

I'm not saying our board have been all bad, far from it.

I think they have become stale. Like a football team, the board needs freshening up every few years.

Some of our fans go too far in criticism of Dermot Desmond. I'm sure fans of other clubs, especially Leeds United and Portsmouth, can testify to how much worse things can get with bad owners.
