And the Highland League is really hotting up! Early on it looked like Brechin City had got their act together, splashed the cash wisely and were going to win it easy ,and to be fair they looked the best team. But their six point lead reduced significantly with an unexpected loss and a draw , then last night Buckie Thistle had a fine win away at fourth place Brora, their six straight win, to strengthen their position as league leaders. Buckie are now 8 points ahead of Brechin , who have three games in hand that you’d expect them to win. But as we know anything can happen .
At the moment it is likely to come down to the last game of the season …..Buckie v Brechin. Champions League it ain’t , but it sure is mighty fine fun!
