Celtic have a smaller budget than two of the teams in our group. possibly three. When the draw was made, I said we were playing for third spot.
Fair play to Shakhtar for getting a brilliant result in Leipzig, and a draw with Real. They've deserved third spot, though Celtic should have beaten them in Warsaw.
It is disappointing not to get third spot, but I don't see it as a disgrace. Maybe if we had the money EPL clubs have and flopped miserably that would be a disgrace, but I dont see finishing bottom of the group as a disgrace.
