Rangers fans worse than the rs fans, i really don't think so. This indeed must be quite the spectacle indeed to other people. An argument about which set of fans are worse the rs or Rangers! I've been to Liverpool plenty of times. I know the city and it's people very well. There is good reds fans, but the bad element really leave both them and their fine city down. Something really does need to be done about it at this stage. This carry on has been ignored for way too long.

Oh i know people got hurt, but we have people like Danny Dyer and that film the Football Factory, and you have all these books on the subject as well. Football violence is very much something, that has been glamourized a bit by the media indeed over the years.

I have no issue if someone needs to settle something one on one or five on five or whatever, but when you have a situation where it's five or six on one, i kind of see that sort of thing as very much out of bounds.

That's not me making any judgement on you at all. You lived through it and experienced it i didn't. When trouble comes your way, you have to respond accordingly.

Plenty of innocent people got hurt mate especially in the 70's it'sa load of bull it was always like mined people who fought each other anybody telling you differently either wasn't there or is being romantic about it.
80s was an element of that but again not always.
It was just the way it was at the time of you went the game.
Any Everton fan my age would have loads of stories. Much better now ,most involved were not big hard men either , I am not but had a bit of balls , plenty of ordinary people in the street would batter me and most others as well.
At most games nothing of any note happened.

And in Scottish football news, Dundee Utd made it two wins in a row to move off the bottom of the ladder.
They next face Ross County who have taken their place at the foot of the tablr, so good chance of 3 in a row
