To be honest I was expecting to find out this morning that they had smashed up half of Seville last night but they seem to have behaved themselves.
Credit where credit is due they have set an example to our neighbours for next week in Paris who I am sure won't let our city down
Peas in a pod those two.

They look absolutely done in here. It does give me a flicker of hope for Saturday but when you support Hearts, you go into these games hoping, rather than expecting.

Rangers could easily end up winning comfortably on Saturday. But while there’s hope, I’ll keep hoping.

I’ll be at Hampden on Saturday, cheering on the boys in maroon.

It was a poor final overall i thought. Did Van Bronkhorst set the team up too negatively i wonder? Still though it was a great achievement to make it so far.

Chances like that don't come around often though, you have to take them when you have the opportunity and Rangers didn't.

I'd say the next appearance by a scottish club in a european final, will be in the conference league.

He was clueless.

He didn't get to grips with the movement of Frankfurt's forwards all night. Only for Bassey's last ditch lunges they'd have been knackered.

I said last night that Gerrard would have won that final last night. They are his team and he'd have known how to set them up to hurt the opposition.

I think if Eddie Munster had managed that game they'd have edged that. It was his team and they got there because of him.

Van Bronckhorst is a pretty drab manager. I think he'll be ousted next season.

Terrible decision to get Ramsey on. All down to his cv.

The manager lost that game for rangers.
I like Gio as a person, but he is coming under fire from some posters on a Rangers forum, but a lot of people there are just shouting them down.

I think in hindsight he did set the team up too negatively, but he did well to get them that far.

It will be interesting to see, if he can pick the team up for the Scottish cup final.

Considering they play in the “ Aberdeen Angus League “, I thought they did very well and pretty well matched Frankfurt and had them on the ropes in the second half of extra time.

Ramsey has been a very underwhelming signing though.

Rangers did more than good, but honestly what's the point of Ramsey, other than to be a wage sponge? Ridiculous signing and such a mistake to put him on - he offered nothing in play and the penalty was weak in every way.

Perhaps did set up too defensively though, maybe hoping for the fans to be the 12th man, but that also didn't really work out. Credit to them - Seville is still in 1 piece, so... lol

Ramsey is the type of player Everton would‘ve signed on a five year contract a few years ago !

Ha, that reminds me of when you played them in the final in 1998, just under a week after we'd avoided relegation by the finest of margins. My jambo mate was giving me plenty of stick for aging about 200 years over our situation, but he was in the same boat a few days later as Hearts clung on to their lead and Rangers turned the screw. I even managed to spot him on the TV, all hunched up like a dug on a bag of staples for the last 10 mins after McCoist pulled one back.

Will be a fine few days if we get the same two outcomes again...
