My lad and I, Hibs fans, watched the game in a Hearts pub, surrounded by Huns. How's that for an exercise in diplomacy?

For what it's worth, I thought it was a good match in a cracking atmosphere. Neither side displayed great skill but plenty of effort. Chances were few and wildly taken for the most part.

The real match is the Champions League next week where we see players who can control the ball with one touch and lay it off. That's showbiz.

Seriously jealous of your mate. I've got a family summer holiday booked in a few weeks, if it wasn't for that I would be in Seville right now. Unfortunately our budget doesn't stretch to 2 trips abroad in as many weeks. I tell you what though, my nerves are flippin' jangling! I've not felt this way before a game for a long, long time.
Now we have Palace

Rangers fans shouldn't be too down

Easy to say after a big loss like, but getting to the Final itself was an achievement when you consider how difficult it is for teams from the less fancied leagues to do well in Europe these days

I know that Everton, even with all the benefits that come with being in the "best" league in the world, will probably never sniff a European Final in my lifetime

Enjoy the fact your team gave you a great run and get excited for possible Champions League next season

Celtic need to be seeing this as well and start doing better in Europe. Their recent efforts have been abysmal whilst Rangers have usually had a decent run in recent seasons

Difficult to take that last night. I've no idea what Goldson was doing when that cross came in for their equaliser. All he had to do was clear the ball, it should have never got passed him. He's been guilty of this on quite a few occasions this season. Then he looks about at other players to shout at.
Need to put thus in context though, it's been good old run. Never thought we'd get this far after losing the first 2 group stages games.
