SCARED.....

I am bricking it a bit yeah.
Not sure how I feel about it if he goes. One hand, you can't expect him to stay around for forever, but I am completely bricking it as to what will happen and who'll replace him.
I don't buy this utter ****e that "we're Everton we'll be fine." Unless football is scripted like a play, that's not how it works.

I'm all for giving young managers a chance, we wouldn't have got DM in the first place if BK hadn't taken a gamble on him so why not try a fresh face again???

The problem on here is most of you DM lovers keep mentioning the likes of coyle, martinez etc when in reality there is a whole world of managers to choose from some maybe not even known to us a la Wenger that is not too say nobody cannot do the job. Someone like solskjaer for instance. Laudrup has just gone to swansea these managers are out there just need to be given an opportunity.

Thanks for that, great post.

There's managers out there who could do this job in a different manner....

I love moyes tbh i always have. Where he's tookbus from I'll never forget. But were stale have been for 5 years.

We need change.

Why change now? When we finally have a decent striker, which we havent had for those 5 years that you stated and have started to look like a top 4 team in the process.

I'd like to see a whole season with Moyes and Jelavic (and Pienaar).

If same old **** next year then fair enough, suppose.

I did say the end of January like. By your own logic did the season end in march when we lost 3-0 to the pool and 1-0 to the arse?

To be honest i thought our football improved in a few games in the second half of the season, the majority after march. But i also thought we were awful in some games aswell. from january to the end of the season i would say we played really well in about 3-4 games and better than usuall in about 3. i didn't think the so called second half of the season revival was all that good really.

Anyone bold enough to admit they'd be 'excited' (not sure if that's the right word to use here) to see who we'd employ should Moyes leave?

I'm still confident he won't leave.

Sharpy I reckon in that thread theres only a small handful who are worried about change. The worm is turning, and a lot more people are starting to come towards our way of thinking, so don't be too scared mate.

Son don't be scared, we're EVERTON. Without Moyes we would flourish with the right manager. He took us to a good place, but we need someone else to change the ethos an style of the club to bring us on...

DONT BE SCARED..

All on a net spend of 3 million. The next man to come in is charged with breaking in to the top 4, Without spending nothing. Mate it can,t be done, without money, fact. Moyes can take us forward but he needs the funds. The boards at fault for us not moving forward not moyes. Ps just my opinion of course. Who is right, who is wrong? But if people think getting rid of moyes and getting a new man in and expect better league placings without additional funding I think are wrong imo

I think the bit you've highlighted on Sharpy's quote refers to the style of footy we play, which is generally dull and horrible, with a few ace moments in between.
It's impossible to know what would happen without Moyes, but I just think a lot of people are bored with what we have, and there's no reason not to be optimistic with a change. Glass half full, it might work!

Is it 3m net spend over his ten years?. don't forget over 50m of the outgoing was only two players.

He has done really well in the transfer market harry, for all his flaws that isn't one of them (in my opinion of course).

The fact he has done so well to build a good team with so little money only highlights the fact we do have quality and fail to produce the results we should be capable of.

people also seem to forget that DM has broken our transfer record twice(maybe 3 was AJ a record too) too. not bad for a man who's never had any dollar to spend.

Do you think given the finances moyes gets someone else can come in and push us in to the top 4. And of the £50 million you speak of £20 million plus of that was a player moyes bought for about £4 million

Don't you think our best starting eleven should make us a top 4 team though mate, irrespective of how much money is available? It's a great team on paper.
