Think it could well be a case of being homesick. Could well be someone who moved to England too early, like de bryune or salah. But we shouldn't have sent him somewhere where he wasn't guaranteed to start. Especially if we're looking to sell him.

Hopefully a new manager will give him a chance when they come in.

If he doesn't want to be here then as long as we get are money back and are not paying any of his wages then it's probably best for eveyone if he leaves.

Two opinions here:

1. Timing
He joined the club at a moment of terrible DOF and Coach input. Not his fault, form gone. I can understand him being critical of the club, but you should not do that publicly.

2. Ability.
This might sound like sour grapes but genuinely the guy looked a bit headless chicken to me and not a natural finisher. So if he's bad-mouthing the club, so what. Sell him. He's a long way second to the likes of Andrew Johnson and Steven Naysmith whom I at least admired for work-rate, a few goals and intent to get in the box and make assists.

Take Morg and Bolasie with you and shut the door quietly hombre.

Every signing we make, (unless they're Scouse), sounds to get homesick when they join Everton. The atmosphere at the club must be terrible.
We dodged a homesick bullet in missing out on the Croatian bloke who plays GK for Ghent; apparently he's pining to get back to the Adriatic.

Too weak minded for the premier league, simply didn’t have enough about him. Can’t blame him for wanting to get back to his comfort zone.

Probably best his off just another Soldado

just meant from spain in general, i'd probably hate living in britain moving from a nice hot country as well tbh. I doubt our facilities which are a bit in the dark ages for modern football help tbh. These modern footballers do seem to like everything easy and laid on a plate for them, it does seem.

I can see him back at FF in the first week of July with his tail between his legs and a vanilla interview on the official website talking about a poor translation.

I wouldn’t call Finch Farm in the dark ages mate, supposed to be very impressive.

I’m not au fair with the set up at FF but judging from how slow and unfit (and homesick!) the majority of our team is, I imagine it’s a pretty archaic, depressing place.

..it’s like any workplace. The more efficient and successful it is, the happier it is. Players who don’t play will usually be unhappy, especially if the team are not pulling up trees.

I watched with excitement and interest at his league debut against Stoke. Both my brother and I thought in that match, he looked lightweight and lacked pace. In his other matches, notably when he came on at half time aga8nst Chelsea, he ran around like a headless chicken and seemed unable to control the ball.

For me, he just didn’t look good enough.
He looked nervous when he did get a chance. His throwing in the towel already doesn’t suggest to me that he had the fight that this team needs.

He was definitely worth a punt though.

obv didn't want to come here in the first place, so came with a bad attitude.

if I remember correctly he was holding out for a move to athletico, it was an on off deal for weeks and weeks with us.

if a player doesn't automatically want to join us, we should move on.

it has been proven that players with no real desire to come here don't do well.

Tosun's transfer dragged out too, wanted more cash etc etc and hey presto, hasn't been quite the player we wanted. he should of jumped at the chance of coming to the premier league, even if the wages were not quite as high as he wanted, even tho they would have been significally higher than what he was on. the fact that he rinsed us and then the came with a bad attitude says everything. MERCENARY
