Of course you don't know me but the "half a game" was obviously hyperbole. I'd rather keep him til the summer in hopes that the blob of a man we have waddling around our technical area is gone. At the very least get more than 9m euros for him.
If he didn't play between now and may why would his value rise. And pay him 120 grand a week to do nothin. This ain't on allardyce. Its on those that signed him

Hope he does well.

He may get a look in next season depending on the management situation.

Could well be a clean slate for everyone in the summer but in the meantime we needed to recoup some money and shift some players.

Presumably Sevilla will cash in unless he's majorly poor? It's still a very small fee.

Yeah daft comment by myself which I edited. Thanks for pulling me up.

Yeah you could be right. I wanted to see sandro go on loan in England. Hard to see what this move brings? 9m is a meagre fee. Unless he's genuinely home sick. Who Knows.
Didn’t pull you up at all mate, I enjoy your contributions and the line just wasn’t you. Made me smile though.

I suspect Sandro only wanted to go home and rather than have our name attached to a ‘prisoner’ in future La Marcas it’s best to double our money and part amicably.

Well...he should've been able to trap a ball and stopped falling over when he got it and he would've got more of a chance.

The same with Klassen. The league is too fast and too physical for them. Koeman knew that and said they needed to "adjust". Then we spiralled down the league.

They don't fit how we play. Like pretty much 90% of Koeman and Walsh's signings have been duds. He was just a cheap on.
But again never given an actual chance.

So he couldn't trap a ball? Lukaku couldn't ever, scored 25 for us last season.

My point on sandro is the same as klassen. How can you exoect them to adjust if you never properly play them? Or when you do it's in a team that barely functions and leaks goals? In a team where hoofing it up pitch is the attack, where 4/5 long passes are lost, where people get in each other's way etc.

Is the same argument that people had about all these players from below us, looked crap because the team was crap yet suddenly like gueye for example, are a much better player in what was a better team a year ago.

How many starts did sandro actually have? In all these games when he played, what was the end score? Stick anyone in a team that's struggling and they look poor, I'm sorry but I believe the likes of sandro and klassen are the scapegoats for this season and the transfer policy. They are the bench mark for the bad business yet have been the most frozen out of the lot of them and yet the team is underperforming by the ones deemed good enougj

Sure. But that is far too black and white. Currently Sandro is a waste of a squad number. He would be for the rest of the season. There is a player in there (as there is with Klaassen and yes, Besic too) but they currently contribute nothing and probably will not between now and the end of the season so get rid and make space for some players who could contribute. Of course if we end up bringing nobody in tomorrow I may join you in your fuming but at this stage he is no great loss for me. Down the line it may come back to haunt us but that's life.
Because he even said he was under the impression his results would determine if he got the job thus putting him and the squad as a whole in a very precarious situation.

You're the one making it black and white and what do you mean make space? We're not at our registration limits now, if I remember correctly, because of how many youngsters play for us and Moshiri said money is no issue as long as he's here so where's the impediment? If you think we're bringing anyone in or you're happy to continue letting Walsh and Allardyce buy players then we're on different planets.

The money in the English game skews our judgement on these things, or my judgement anyway. 9m just feels low but it's still a big outlay for a lot of clubs.

Then again, Real Betis have just spent €20m on Bartra from Dortmund (having just spent a weekend in Dortmund, I can confirm Seville is a much better option for him like).

But yeh, Sevilla aren't loaded.

I'd happily line their pockets with £30m for a certain former Stoke midfielder tomorrow though.

Were you intentionally upping his wages to make a point? No. You were attempting to make a truth claim. So don't compare the two. And what report? I've read reports saying you have no clue what you're talking about. Should I believe them?

Sandro is getting paid around 100k p/week I think mate
