To be fair he wouldn't suit anyone's relegation battlers because he has been utter tosh in every game he has played for us so far....

Thats because he has been played out of position mostly. And the team he has been in have been terrible and played to defend and not concede, basically he has been left twiddling his thumbs
Hope he does well when he leaves seems a decent guy

Pretty much everyone who is crap for Everton, you get people saying ‘but he’s being played out of position..’. Bilya, McFadden, Rodwell.. etc.
Every position requires basic footballing ability, and he just hasn’t shown that at Everton. He’s not quick, he’s not strong, he’s not superbly technical.
He’ll move on and be mediocre somewhere else.

Agree. Tosun to partner Holgate at CB this weekend. Afterall, he should be able to demonstrate basic football ability.

the complete lack of direction at this club at present.
This is the most worrying thing at the minute. The performances on the field are terrible no doubt but it seems like literally no one knows what they're doing at our club. All the way from Moshiri to Elstone to Walsh to Fatty. The only thing we can hold onto is the stadium and even that has the higher ups tempering expectations saying stuff like "remember there's a lot of work still left to do" or "there's a long way to go yet".

Only us could spend £200m and end up in mid table or fighting a relegation battle.

Directionless.
