I think he's doing enough to keep in Silvas thoughts currently.

Certainly not a 100k a week player, but it looks like Silva is working on his fitness, mental toughness and trying to give the kid his confidence back.

He'll sell him tomorrow to West Brom for 2.5m
 
Looks like he’ll be our 2nd choice RWF after Walcott which is decent progress for him. Was easily our best player in the first half today.
 

Everyone who has invested so much in slating him the last year is never gonna give him his due. But at the end of the day he's a 23 year-old kid. Barca graduate, Spanish U21 international. He moved to a completely different football culture at a young age to a team in a mess with 3 incompetent managers over the whole season. Not entirely unsurprising he struggled last year.
 
Looks like a player that has been encouraged by the manager and wants to show how good he is. I thought he did well last night against good opposition and will get better as his confidence grows.... worst case scenario is his value increases in a sale.
 
He puts a shift in and he knows how to put a good ball in the box. Just needs to sort his shooting out and we have one less wide forward to buy.
 

He’s been really good in preseason, but Silva’s comments made it seem as though he wants a move. Happy to see him putting in a couple shifts even if it is to facilitate a move elsewhere.
 
Best I’ve seen him last night night. The touch and shot was excellent but desperately unlucky.

Can see he is trying and eager to impress. I think he has done enough to warrant staying. Needs a few goals in next few games.
 
If DCL is better then you have condemned Ramirez to the outer shadows. Oh the dross we have acquired over the past few years.
