On another level to the Ginola, Gascoigne signings this. He's no crock and his stats still hold up at the very highest level. Samuel Eto'o will be wearing an Everton shirt. MIND BLOWN.

Apart for the fact that he clearly could have gotten more money elsewhere, why does it matter what his motives are if he does a job ? He's paid to play football, not to love the club. If you think any of our squad would be here if they weren't on good money you're seriously deluded.

Best backup striker we've had in years.
Ignoring Rom, he's the best striker we've had in years.

We sold Forshaw, with the sell on fee of 50%, and he has just been sold for circa £5m, so we are gaining roughly £2.5m. That's half of Eto'o's contract already.

It is a no brainer signing, a top quality back up.

A lot is made of his age but we have a winner in Eto.

Someone who has played at the very highest level and even last year he had a good season with Chelsea so if he is coming on with 20/30mins to go to help out Lukaku or replace, he is a WORLD CLASS footballer no matter how old he is.

If we could add Welbeck with Eto and Lukaku, the good times will ROLL!

Welbeck is awful though.
