Can look at it two ways:

1. He's 33, past his best and a player that plays for himself and wouldn't care if we lost.

2. He's experienced, done it all and knows where the goal is. His presence will be good for the youngsters and I could think of worse people to come of the bench.

I can't see him being on more than 60k max and if he knows he's second string to Rom, I can't see an issue. He is free after all so nothing to lose...

I'm undecided but I trust Bobby and he certainly brings more depth.

If this comes off I will be seriously worrying about our relationship with Chelski.
First Lukaku, then Atsu now Eto.
Its only a matter of time before they call in their markers and ask for one of our players.
Any guesses who ?

Brilliant piece of business.

Despite his age, the man is a a World star and it shows just how far we've come of late, that we'd even consider us, let alone put pen to paper.

Made up with this one.

2 year deal probably something to do with lower wages.

1 year deal = 80k a week
2 year deal = around 40K a week

He's a free transfer. Out of contract at Chelsea, nothing to do with them.
