There is no reason to fire him until the end of the season at this point. We waited too long, so we may as well finish the last 3 games and say our goodbye then.

if we have a replacement in mind, he must be in a job at the moment, if not LVG, Silva and now Emery who are out of work would be installed now to prepare for next season
Fonseca still contracted to Shakhtar until May 19 with the league yet to be wrapped up. Think we'll know definitively whether that is a goer following the passing of those two milestones.

Sorry but you really think he will keep FS when Martinez and Koeman were lynched and they’re football ( albeit had some off days ) or the football they tried at least had some identity. Now we have nothing except boring hoof.

But positions in the table = money and 8th place far outweighs relegation candidates under those two.

League position will start to fall, players wi lose faith in him, an will want to leave, he want to buy poorer players and sell off the youth, we end up with an old squad in a 2/3 full stadium
The first part of your post could well be describing Martinez.

Small potatoes compared to staying in the premiership and tv money
As the form dips and Moshiri get increasingly worried he sack Sam, unfortunately no one else is available at which point Mark Hughes is brought in, Everton now play in front of a 1/3 full stadium and Everton are relagated with a lot of old players on massive wages with no relegation clauses

Interesting ... have you got the numbers for tonights euro millions ?

It’s obvious to me that the comment from Fatty regarding some clarity on the way forward means simply that Der Mosh has told him and Walsh that both of their positions will be reviewed again at the end of the season. By doing this Mosh keeps them both on their toes whilst it buys him time to secure Brands and fatties replacement whoever that may be.

If he was to tell them that they were finished at the meeting yesterday then FF would descend into the seventh level of hell and Walsh would go on a robbing spree taking all the fixtures and fittings with him whilst Big chops would drink the FF gravy cellar dry.
