I thought SA had a chance with Everton fans, I also agree with you that it's very difficult to 2nd guess Moshiri particularly in a World Cup Summer.
I'd hoped he'd drop the "Big Sam" act though. Show a bit of humility, recognise he's at the biggest club he's been at, that has a tradition and a level of expectation and knowledge amongst the fan base.
We're not an unreasonable bunch. However we are very aware when we are being played.
His comments about Lookman, and more importantly yesterday were appalling. Trying to shift the blame onto the fans, for our treatment of Schneiderlin as causing the defeat is awful. He was always a manager who tried to blame everyone but himself, and he has continued along that way here. There's nobody left to blame, he's had money, a good squad etc so he turns on supporters.
This ought to be enough to seal his fate. I have little faith on Moshiri anymore though. Every week Allardyce remains here though, defending players who don't put effort in on the basis of how much they are paid/cost and turning the performances on fans, any credibility Moshiri has left will be eroded away.
Honest to god, I'd have Martinez back over this idiot. He never tried to blame fans for his ineptitude.
..I don’t disagree. The Arsenal game was pivotal for me because it was a game he clearly surrendered. We can’t have a situation like that, we need to try and be competitive in every game.
