And people suggest hes still going to be here come the summer...

Please, hes doing his best to get the result, but also to get canned. He wants to get paid to leave, so he can sit around and eat. He knows full well the board will be fuming at suggesting its still a relegation battle at this point, rather than focusing on trying to get into europe. Because if he makes it to europe it makes the board look a little better and gives them hope people will forget how bad this season was.

Of course it does. Imagine after all this we finished 7th. It will be exactly the same position we cheered Koeman for last season. Its very bizarre.

I do think it will take a run of good form to finish there though with any game aside from Lpool and City being games we must take points from.

Was there no press conference yesterday?
I think he did it first thing this morning. I've seen a few quotes.
The main things the Fat one covered were:
Schneiderlin didn't travel to Dubai as he had a family emergancy back in France.
Niasse is doing great and is very happy
Coleman is struggling and is a doubt for Watford but Baines is back in contention
Mori is playing for the Under 23's again and will be ready for the first team after that
Dubai a massive success apparently and there is now excuse now for the players under performing

His comments in the presser this morning suggests that he's settled on his team for the rest of the season. The likes of Tosun, Klaassen, Vlasic etc. are going to have to just wait for their chance, suggesting that injuries to other players might possibly be the only in for them now. Sounds like he's also conceded that Morgan will need to do the same (he didn't travel to Dubai because of 'family issues' apparently).

He's hinting at an organisational clear out there. Hopefully it includes him.

No mention of the Holgate affair either. Well done Everton. Another stage managed bit of BS. You can be sure Klopp will be making hay over that issue, but our club STFU about it.
