i thought silva was the real deal when he was at hull, he got watford playing some truly amazing stuff, they were heavy favourites to go down let's not forget. Yet we showed interest and what happened worried me. It's exactly like our players downing tools under martinez and their defending was the same scenario also.

...however, at least i actually dreamed under martinez, i believed we could actually do something and i actually enjoyed us, we actually tried to go away at the big boys and take them on.

I'd be underwhelmed with silva, but that's mainly because of the sheer amount of top top managers going spare this summer. It's the perfect time for us to pluck one like emery who can take us right up that table.

...but that's all plain and simple saying it, i think they'll all have better offers than us, i won't be gutted with silva though.

We aren't getting any "top Manager" though mate. Let's be realistic here. They knocked us back when Moshiri took over that Summer, when we were the flavour of the month even.
Two years later, the football world has seen through him and his fluff, and, we are a shamble once again.
Let's just get Allardyce and what he represents out of our club and start again with a young Manager and hope he doesn't turn out another Koeman.

He is doing a manager review of the season on Sky on Monday at 7pm. That to me suggests he will be out of a job by Monday. I live in hope but I can't see him doing something like that if he was still in employement. It's his chance to say look how well it did.

It says the opposite to me.It says...give him his time on TV to have any takers as he bigs up his CV.Then we will bin(to quote) ..The steak and Kidney Pie shagging Bar steward.

In either scenario it sees an absolue stain on the history of the club gone and is good by me. He is just so behind the times it's painful in terms of setting up a team and style of play.

I'm still a bit gutted, but he's here now, so we've just got to deal with it now.
I think he has done what he was brought here for but with players we have we should be challenging the top 4 but we ain’t playing the type of football that we should be,its boring inconsistent and at such and old style and poor quality that I think we should consider our selves lucky we are still in the premier league we just need to build from the back as you are only as good as what your defence is,I like jags and baines but they are aging now and we need to find some replacements for them

I look upon managerial appointments the same way I do penalty kicks.
So far, our penalty taker (Moshiri) has:
1: Kicked it high and wide into the car park.
2: Passed it harmlessly to the keeper.
3: In a panic, missed the ball completely and fallen on his arse

He is now putting the ball on the spot for the fourth time and I daren't look.
I'm laughing because it's true. Why do I envisage a boot flying off and hitting a pregnant lady in the crowd?

Be amazed if he’s gone that quickly, he’ll be gone whenever Farhad has time to meet him. Current meeting date unknown.
