They've been at it on talk sport again today. Jim the helmet white and chums, giving it the "oh he's terrible Allardyce, imagine ONLY getting to 8th in the league..."

Not surprising really that we're now seen as a small club, when those in charge do nothing to change that opinion.

Unfortunately nothing that has happened in the last twenty years at Everton shouts we are a “big club”.

It’s deeply saddening.

I watched the Sunday supplement and they said it about Stoke, WBA and Southampton. That they wanted to play more attacking football and that’s why there going down....not there terrible buys
Yeah watched that myself it was the black guy ( not sure of his name) who was saying this, and I must admit I took it as a vailed dig at us, but that could just be me.

Finishing 7th in this dross filled League should not be hard for Everton.

Nor quite frankly would it be any great achievement.

This league is littered with clubs which aspire to nowt more than to survive the season.

Every single one of them from 7th placed Burnley down to Stoke on the bottom, and that will very much include us if Allardyce is allowed to stay in his job.

If this mindset is allowed to take hold at our club then relegation within the next few seasons is a distinct possibility, if not a certainty.

Because the teams which think like that are all just sat in a line awaiting their turn to go through the trapdoor.
He is now saying we are going for top four, due to us moving to the docks, it was
7th or 8th last Thursday.

Let’s be real here, some of are fans are like this too. “Be careful what you wish for” “Don’t want be a Leeds, Venkys or Portsmouth” and they do it with the most obnoxious, condescending tone too.

Yet, they go crazy when we are questioned to be a big club when their attitude is a detriment to it. Ask yourself this, for all the happenings that have occurred not just this season but the last two decades, what genuine ambitious club with genuine aspirations to be the best would tolerate even half of it? They wouldn’t.

He’s belittled us a fair bit recently, even talking about does Rooney deserve better clearly suggesting we aren’t good enough for him. I think it comes from the fact Moshiri isn’t giving him cringey soundbites any more. For a while he was Farhads mouth piece but now he’s about as clued up as the rest of us and he obviously doesn’t like that.

If you have Sam Allardyce as your manager, your perception as a club will change. Finishing 8th with any club he's ever managed would be seen as fantastic.

The man has made his career by keeping smaller clubs in the division. As soon as he is gone our image will start to be rehabilitated.

Right now we have a media darling in charge who has a lot of friends who want to paint it that he's great and it's all unrealistic supporters who hate him. Look at Glen Hoddle on Saturday.

We're not better than 7th. We are better than Allardyce. As soon as he's gone people will start to remember.

Mate you’re about as in the know as a sausage roll.
sausage rolls are quite intelligentlol -
was sausage on Blue Kipper?
Look we will find out what happens to SAM in the forthcoming months - the media want him to stay that's my worry - from what i heard a month ago correct or incorrect his contract was being terminated after this season!
like the Esk - onions etc it was just a itk true or not we shall see!

He’s cringey, the way he acts on deadline days is embarrassing. Like he’s a doing a terrible audition to be a wrestlers manager.
