Walcott and Mangala are Big Sam the magic man signings to the core. And Cenk was linked when Big Sam was at Palace, pretty sure Big Sam spoke about his long term interest very recently..

1.no I'm not

2. Name me a stadium or large project that hasn't went way over budget. - especially now brexit is happening and the prices of steel etc will be skyrocketing.

3. The council will be taking on a loan, then loaning the money to the club - they are stillhandng over money to the club.

They are not magically "handing over their credit rating"

We are fighting with relegation this season and the team looks pants. We have also struggled financially for years, does this not seem like a risk at all? It's laughable to suggest there is no risk involved for the council.

My overall point was the fact moshfraud keeps saying money is no issue - yet we are still struggling to find it despite we have a large chunk of money which looks to be coming from the council.
Your overall point was not expressed in the post I responded to and not what I care about. You attempted to twist a guaranteed repayment on a loan that the club accesses through the council to seem as though the council themself were paying the stadium tab. That's what I took umbrage with.

You then go on in your second point to introduce a subject that has nothing to due with the club using the council's better credit rating to get a lower interest rate on a loan. That's all it is. Whether you want to want to use your own twisting of semantics or not it is what it is.

Of course there's not absolutely zero risk for the council but in life when thinking about growing wealth you normally must take risks and most people would argue the risk to the council is negligible.

If you wanted to beat up Moshiri over something it wouldn't be the stadium. He's made a series of flubs whilst here but none really have anything to do with the stadium. Especially now the commonwealth games have no impact.

Because he is a fraud.

If money was no issue we wouldn't be having to rely on the local council (which is on its knees) for money and struggle to find the rest for the stadium.

The guy "invested" a relatively small amount of money (for a billionaire) and is likely to make Double or triple of his investment without doing anything (because the lucrative tv and sponsorship money currently inflating prices)

John Frum, he come.

We’re safe mate, all of these teams will also be taking points off each other. Even abysmal as we are we still pick up 5 points every 4 games and will probably end up with 46 points......

That is what worries me, Pete :(

If they are taking points off’ve each other then by definition they are accumulating points and inching closer to our total.....which I don’t think will be anywhere near 46 points

We struggled....really struggled...to salvage a point home to Baggies a few weeks ago.

Yesterday they lost at home to Saints

I don’t think we will go down.....but I ain’t discounting the possibility either :hayee:

Is this fat rat just going purposely out of his way to alienate players? And oh I forgot about Oumars absolutely amazing hold up play in his place. I am made up with Niasse if he doesn't fall over the ball or trip over his own legs. Do one Sam you absolutely cancerous wart on the anus of society.

I think it must be a deliberate ploy to make a mess then say he is the best one to fix it. The man is a con merchant and we are his latest mark..........

I have no idea what style of football we think we are playing - home or away. We change personnel so often because the last game usually ended in a defeat it’s become a matter of letting fate decide on the day. Sometimes it’s three at the back, or is it five, not sure.

Do we have three up top or is it one with deep lying runners? I think we normally have two deep midfielders who don’t win much and offer little going forward and we mix and match who plays wide whether they are there to go forward or simply protect the fullbacks. So to say this lad is struggling to adapt is like saying we are easy on the eye with our comfort on the ball and quick interchanges.

He don’t look a world beater that’s for sure, but do we set up around him to give him a chance? Not sure of that either. We’re a ponderous mismatch of a team, devoid of any style or consistency. Until we start to show some fight and belief it won’t matter what system we play because it’ll be too late. Sam - you bought him. Don’t tell us now that he can’t do the job you bought him to do because that won’t be his fault ....it’ll be yours.
