Saha Signs

As for saha, well he is costing us nothing rising to 1.5mill on apperances, not a bad deal for a backup striker, considering AJ was only a backup, and we sold him for 10mill rising to 13, and aj was on at least 60k a week wasn't he, so we will surly be ahead on the wage front too. The bigest risk is that we won't get many games from him, well we won't pay, so no drama. , just cross your fingers Cahill, Vaughan and saha don't spend there obligatory time in the treatment room together, leaving us short up front.

True True- and despite Andy Gray throwing his sceptical eye over the transfer-its a win win for me- Did Mr Gray himself expect to be playing in a European final when he originally signed for Everton? Skint or not if Everton get 40 to 50 games out of him in the next 2 years and 15-20 goals to the good-its good business IMO despite the injury risks:)

well im happy with it!

same as owen in my eyes keep him fit and the lad will score all day long!!!!!!!!!!

Why does it say we are skint? To me it says we are still looking to conclude some big business. I would wait until Monday evening to be sure. But this Moutinho talk just won't go away will it?
No it wont..but we'll see wont we :)

I really hope i'm wrong but i just get the feeling i'm not:huh:

Seconded.

Absolutely shits on AJ, Vaughan & Vic in terms of experience, technique and goal ratio (although I can see the latter two developing into an unstoppably lethal partnerhip in a couple of years).

This is providing he's fit of course - Time to work your magic Rathbone.

Know what you mean - it's a long shot for the first derby, but images keep flooding into my head of Yak and Louis terrorising Carragher & Squirtle.

Potentially, Moyes' shrewdest signing yet (only because Cahill, Lescott, Yak & Arteta all cost at least something!)

This is an absolute immense signing, Saha is one of the best strikers in the leauge and i would like to make the point that his apperance record for Utd was not soley based on injury but that of being picked behind others also. For me he was one of the integral parts of Utd getting back the title the season before last. He is a completate striker, he can score in the deck int bx, long range, with his head he has pace to get in behind and has the ability to make space for himself in a crowded area. He has played in big games both domesticly and in Europe. He has averaged about thirty games a season for Utd since hes signed in all compitions. He is potentialy as good as the Yak.

Some points to ponder:

AJ was pretty injury prone himself!

Is AJ a better player then Saha!

Would you prefer Alan Smith to AJ.

Top signing a really astute signing for Moyes, personaly i want Larson as well to play in the hole when Cahill isnt fit or coming on!

I reckon thats a very high possibility that this will happen. Larsson will come in with Moutinho me thinks, making Moyes correct with his "6 players shout".

I never called you a red [Poor language removed], you took that out of context.

But there is no need to threaten me mate. But your unbelievable negativity is just making me question what's the [Poor language removed] point. Your clearly never going to be happy until we are top of the league and dominating again. For me? I just want to be entertained, and I was last year. I'm also enjoying the current week and the influx of players coming in. Regardless of whether or not they are super amazing egotistic knobheads with a fatter wage packet than Rockafella.

Just recently been getting sick and tired of the doom and gloom surrounding Everton sites. It almost got me dragged in. Tell me if we sign Moutinho you would crack a smile. Because mate, its really not worth getting bent out of shape for.

At the end of the day, its only a game of football.

"I want it to be £20m - just so Halewood Blue explodes in a mess of red and white."

That sounds like your calling me a redsh*te and i dont appreciate it.

The highlighted bit annoys me and just confirms how our standards have lowered, Evertonians should never be satisfied until we our top of the tree again, we are NOT here just to make the numbers up and entertain.
I would smile if we get moutinho, but were not going to get him.
