Ryazantsev: ‘It’s more than a project’

I like the idea of Bill as a figurehead but with nothing to do with running the club. I mean he's a terrible businessmen outside of the west end but he always does us proud with regards to speeches at the JFT96 memorials and such.

The hilarity if BK is still around and we move into a new stadium .

The kopites who all lick his arse whilst we're irrelevant will be calling him big time.....

I know we actually haven't done anything yet. But this really feels big time. If they knew sacking Roberto could cost £10million and still sacked him, then went all out to get Koeman, when there where out of work managers like deBore and Moyes available.

Reading that, it sounds like Roberto was getting sacked this summer whatever happened.

Of course he was.

Making all the right, firm, but in a low key manner, noises - not a Phenomenal in sight

Speaking softly and carrying a big stick, while hinting at the possibility of there being a 'lock up' somewhere containing 'Horses Heads' of various descriptions, should this 'very fair offer' actually be refused...not that it will be...

*looks at Rom, Stones and Peel in expectant manner.

Oh for sure.

And my opinion FWIW is that Roberto knew it from early on and the team picked up on it as well, hence the devil may care 'tude we saw from the Arsenal game onwards.

Mate of mine runs the football centre they used over in Dubai. About 2 weeks before the semi final he was invited over to FF as a "thanks for everything" visit.

He said Roberto was very downbeat for the two days he spent there, and before leaving he said "hope to see you in Dubai with Everton again.....but who knows?" (Shrugs shoulders)

Oh, Southampton were at the Dubai complex 2 months before and Koeman loved it too, I expect another visit next season.

...the re-building effort is clearly a programme of work involving a number of separate projects (manager/DoF appointment; player recruitment; commercial progress; stadium move; governance restructure; share holdings etc).

I think this is why he says it's more than a project.

North - west manager concentration part was interesting too ...they really mean business
Well look at it. At the inception of the PL the big five were Everton, Arsenal, Rs, spurs and utd. Maybe villa also. Since then it's just been crippling finances that have kept us from competing at the top level. So now that money isn't the issue what's holding us back? Everton are a massive club regardless of how much Kenwright tried to divest us of that notion.
