Does Garbutt not also cover left wing (thought he played a bit on loan there)? Perhaps he could get a few more games coming on as a sub there?

In your opinion are any of the players in the age groups above Kenny and Ledson gonna make it? Connor Grant, Chris Long, Hallam Hope, Jo Williams, Harry Charsley etc

Harry will make a good 'Cahill-esque' attacking midfielder in the future, doesn't have enough for Everton though, really good at anticipating plays in the final third, scored a fair few headers for someone who isn't tall. Never liked Hope, Grant hasn't kicked on enough even though he's a tidy player, Longy is a really good poacher but injuries have knackered him these past few seasons. Joe has got a lot of U21 game time by virtue of us having naff all senior youths and while I like him, he's another Lundstram where he's just lacking that spark.

Cheers mate, so you reckon none ahead of Ledson & Kenny then age wise will make it at Everton? What about the younger group?, These lads have been mentioned:-

A great blend of midfielders in the next batch to come out of the academy, Dowell, Davis, Donaghue (spelling) and Walsh. Add in that Irish lad Kinsella too.

As well as Dyson and Brewster. Any hopes for this batch?

Davies, Donahue, Dowell, Connolly, Walsh, Holland and Yates have all had some experience with England, be it with England U16s, U17s or just training camps at St Georges or Warwick or wherever they go. Probably the most I can remember from one group. A strong team across the board and it wouldn't be fair to pick out any individuals, but certainly Tom Davies, Michael Donahue, Callum Connolly, Liam Walsh and Kieran Dowell have been exposed to U18 and even U21 football last season, while still only schoolboys.

No outstanding individuals, but a strong bunch.

Highly impressed with your knowledge of our youth teams Sir. I hope you keep us updated during the season ;)
