You can't stop fans talking about exciting prospects mate. There's always going to be hype when a manager says he wants to start a 16 year old in the premiership. The fact that he then went on to captain England youth to victory just added to the problem. He'll have to cope with pressure at some point if he's going to make it anyway and I'm sure Roberto will wait until the time is right.

Trust me mate I know how good he is better than most, but at this point he could very easily do a Jose Baxter as he could a Rooney, people just need to chill out and let him progress if they want him to be like the latter.

I don't think it'll make much difference how chilled out fans are though. Fans are allowed to talk about youth players. Whether he will make it or not is out of our control.

I think it's because of Roberto's comments on the Followtonians podcast, he basically said Green was in stage one of his development, with stage 2 being regular under 21's games and time out on loan(Lunstram, Kennedy, long etc) and stage three being around the first team and making a few appearances off the bench (Garbutt & Browning). All the players listed in the OP are at stages 2 and 3 apart from Ledson who is being fast tracked. Roberto said that he liked Green and said that he has the ability to do something different and win games at u18 level but that they need to establish his best position and role within the team, he wasn't picked for the match day squad for the u18's final, you get the impression he's a bit of a maverick and needs to work at being a team player.

Fella who i know is a u12 scout for everton an hes always at finch farm an the player they always rave about is Kieran Dowell, Said everyon thinks ledson will 100% make it as a top player

A great blend of midfielders in the next batch to come out of the academy, Dowell, Davis, Donaghue (spelling) and Walsh. Add in that Irish lad Kinsella too.
