Run up to the Derby

Liverpool FC are the embodiment of everything I loath about whinging individuals with no scruples. Demanding respect from Uniteds fans (quite rightly) and then ruining what they had respected them with by making aeroplane gestures and chanting "munich" at them as they left the ground. They never did have much in the way of class.

The media never quite get the RS do they ? Most knowledgeable supporters in the world ? Don't make me laugh

I dream as an Evertonian who was there in 1982,of a 5-0,please god for once lets give those bar stewards a hiding!!

I was there too, a really painful day, I've been waiting 30 years for the chance to sing 1-2-3-4-5 nil like they did that day. Not holding my breath on that one though. Winning the treble, Neville winning footballer of the year, and the dark side going down is probably more likely.

Only joking about Neville obviously

As long as the Racist and Mr. Hollywood-pass plays we are gonna bottle it and loose.

Agger being out is great news for us (not for Denmark though) as Carra and Kojak cannot pass the ball out of defense.

I really really hope I'm wrong and we batter them.

Is he deffo out? how long he out for?

We all know what will happen. No point in getting ourselves all excited. It usually gets us nowhere, except making it even more painful to take when the inevitable drubbing takes place.

I'm putting it to the back of my mind, right up until the morning of the match. At that point I'll be a nervous wreck and won't be thinking coherently anyway.

But it's just 'the way' these things happen; we'll now go on a gash run, and they'll turn their corner and take us to the cleaners on derby day.

I half expect Kuyt to still make an appearance for them after some emergency loan deal, and promptly score 1 or 2.

While I dont see us beating them this season (hopefully just the two league games this time), but i do see some light at the end of the tunnel....when Gerrard retires!

thank you for bringing back 82 to my mind and having to stand next to my smug faced dad in the street end, worst day of my life still never forgave keely to this day (bas"ard)

Lets face it, form means NOTHING on derby day, and for me its down to belief. It will be our first derby in a long time without Tim Cahill who bagged quite a few against them.

We have to make sure the players keep a cool head and not get any silly early bookings.

Last year we got turned over 3 times and scored only once. The players need to believe in themselves, cause they didnt last year.

So now we are second with a winnable game at the DW. Could be 16 points from a possible 21 by tea time tomorrow which would be an incredible start.

Quite fancy Stoke to get something a Greyskull if I'm honest although I am sure that they have a 50:50 chance of making the top half and the last 16 in a cup competition.

Teams that try to outplay us receive a surprise, and a footballing spanking. Teams that try to bully us do OK.

Rodgers will try the first. I have some hopes this time
