Boring, can’t even ref the current rules correctly, why give them something else to get wrong.

If they just clamped down on time wasting already and reffed the game properly they wouldn’t need to change the rules.

Instead of receiving a visual countdown, it would be better if the ref received an electric shock when the 8 seconds were up at the same level as a tazer to remind them to take action. There could then be no misinterpretation of the rules as they fell to the floor screaming. It could be done through their buzzy watch thing.

Why does a new rule need to be enacted. Just enforce the existing ffs.

Can`t remember a keeper being penalized since for holding onto the ball too long before.

I'll be surprised if it lasts 10 matches (unless they're all on the same day). I don't think the 'only the captain can approach the ref' rule lasted that long.
