Wales are 4-1 to win the series with the bookies back in the UK I heard - I think the ozzies will be hurting a bit from last nights result. I remember last year when they got beat by Samoa then won the Tri-Nations a bit later on (although I think they won it with the lowest amount of points in ages, or maybe even ever). Anyone fancy the irish winning even one of their games against the All Blacks???

Closest the Jocks and Sheep Shaggers will ever get to this trophy is this photo!

Kevin Mealamu tried to chat up my ex once in a bar in Auckland. His best mate looks like Delroy Lindo and was even bigger than him. He seemed ok when he realised she was with me so he must be a good sort - or my beer belly intimidated him. I'd like to believe it was the latter.

If you haven't done (this applies to everyone) read Ali Williams autobiography - one of the funniest books I've ever read - especially his nightclub in paris story!!

All Black's first hit out against Ireland, half time 23-3, Ireland threatening in small patches but really they're ****e and will probably take another 100 years before they come close to winning against NZ for the first time.

Expecting another 20 points at least in the second half as long as there aren't too many subs ruining the flow.

How good is Julian Savea!!??

Not sure if he's the next Jonah Lomu, I mean he didn't score a single try last season for the Hurricanes, he's decent alright though. Dagg is the star, set him up beautifully.

Irish are gonna get over 50 put on them next game sadly.

super 14 went through a stage of endless penalties, high scoring matches without a try scored, partly because there were some very good kickers around such as Mehrtons, Spencer and some good Aussies and S. Africans, but they have gone back to tying to get over the line again nowadays.

I think the game would be much better off with a try being worth 7 or 8 pts. From what little I know or have seen about rugby it seems like most teams just try to draw pens when they get in scoring position.

They should drop penalties down to 2, drop goals down to 1, do away with locks (and therefore lineouts), make scrums about restarting the game rather than trying to 'earn' penalties and they could have a good game on their hands.
